Heidi Murray is a Charter Board Member of the Summit Choral Collective and presently serves as Treasurer of the organization and also is a member of the Diversity Committee.

When Heidi was approached to serve on the Board of Summit Choral Collective and learned of its vision of community and welcome to all with a varied level of music experience, the answer was a resounding yes. She is excited for this opportunity to provide a safe space of community and art for hearts feeling the passion for music. 

Heidi is currently employed by Knox County Schools and serves in the finance department as Sr. Internal Schools Funds Specialist.  

Growing up, Heidi was introduced to many genres of music by her father who served as a Mechanical Engineer for several music companies.  This introduction and exploration of sound, rhythm, and tempo via live performances and produced music taught her the muse that music brings to her life.  She has also witnessed how this muse can provide a vehicle of joy, sadness, passion and comfort as one lives their life and the ebb and flow that journey provides. This muse sees no lines of exclusion.
