Joni Pappas is a board certified music therapist with additional training in neurologic music therapy. She specializes in geriatrics, special education, early childhood intervention and pediatric medicine. Her private practice has included work in assisted living facilities, nursing and rehabilitation centers, early childhood centers, special education programs and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. 

In addition to her work as a music therapist, Joni also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Tennessee School of Music. 

Joni received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and her Masters of Music Education with an Equivalency in Music Therapy from the University of Iowa.
